Akeyulerre provides the Central Australian community with a wide range of cultural services including smoking ceremonies, bush medicine workshops, cross-cultural training and interpreting.

Smoking ceremonies are carried out regularly at schools, hospitals, clinics, hostels and aged care facilities. These cleansing rituals are also performed for families in communities, outstations and town camps.

Akeyulerre elders regularly present bush medicine workshops which offer a hands on experience of collecting and grinding the leaves of the healing plants along with an introduction to the work of Angangkere, the Arrernte Traditional Healers.

We can arrange a smoking ceremony or a Bush Remedy Workshop for your organisation or conference or public event.
